這是3-14班鄭翰祥同學所推薦給大家的作品,雖然2年級理組已經沒老師的課,但大家和老師的感情依舊,讓老師倍感溫馨喔~此次介紹來自英國蘇格蘭的"Travis"<崔維斯>擁有許多膾炙人口的暢銷單曲,像是"Driftwood"<1999年發行>,"Turn"<1999年發行>,"Why Does It Always Rain on Me?"<1999發行>,"Sing"<2001年發行>,"Side"<2001年發行>...等等.崔維斯" 的確是ㄧ個你不得不注意的樂團.即使是已經有如此高的名望,在許多公共場合中還是相當的低調,也有人曾以為"Travis"是主唱的名字.除了歌曲之外,崔維斯" 覺得"音樂"比他們自己本身更重要,這就是第三張專輯命名時的原由,"The Invisible Band",意思是"無形,看不見的樂團",甚至連專輯封面幾乎都看不太到團員的臉,為了就是要強調"音樂才是主體"的概念~~~

主唱:Francis Healy (1973/07/23生於英國英格蘭斯塔福郡"Stafford")

吉他:Andy Dunlop (1972/03/16生於英國蘇格蘭)

貝斯:Douglas Payne (1972/11/14生於英國蘇格蘭西南部)

鼓手:Neil Primrose (1972/02/20生於英國蘇格蘭)

樂團成立時間:1990年

在2002年,崔維斯差點面臨解散危機,鼓手"Neil Primrose"發生游泳意外事故,差一點就因脊隨受傷而往生,幸運地 !他現在已經完全康復了.2005年7月2日,崔維斯" 受邀在"Live 8"倫敦場次演出,他們一共表演"Sing","Side","Stayin' Alive", ,"Why Does It Always Rain on Me?"共四首歌曲,這是ㄧ場極具意義的表演.

崔維斯" 目前正在和"電台司令" 的製作人"Nigel Godrich"合作,"Nigel Godrich"曾經合作過"崔維斯" 的"The Man Who"及 "The Invisible Band"兩張專輯,以及"Mike Hedges"第五張專輯. 崔維斯" 也有跟英國歌手"KT Tunstall"合作.

作品就在新專輯.貝斯手"Douglas Payne"說道:我們是在ㄧ家很小的Club遇到她的,我們團員覺得非常幸運她能答應,願意跟我們一起合作,跟我們一起製作新歌,新的專輯,她是ㄧ位非常棒的歌手"."Douglas Payne"同時說:我們每個人都有非常多的想法與靈感,如果可以的話,我們可以ㄧ次發兩張專輯.我們已經錄好了20首歌,順利的話,會在今年(2006年)夏天發行.再加上3月10日"Francis

Healy"的未婚妻"Nora Kryst"替他生下了一個兒子,我們都很替他開心,相信今年會是個很棒的ㄧ年".
